Sakanaction is a five-piece rock band. Their style is a mixture of techno-electronica and live rock sounds. Formed in 2005 by Ichiro Yamaguchi (vocals + guitar) and Motoharu Iwadera (guitar) in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the two-man act welcomed in 2006 Ami Kusakari (bass), Emi Okazaki (keyboards), and Keiichi Ejima (drums). In the same year, they performed to wide acclaim at the Rising Sun Rock Festival in EZO, and in 2007, went on to sign with a major label, releasing their debut album, “GO...

Their latest album, “kikUUiki,” was released in 2010. The members of Sakanaction are passionate about graphic design and have designed their own promotional items.
